He wears a hard hat due to a noodle incident and everyone in the hive including Thorax consider him an engineer or an architect and he rolls with it. He never wanted to reform but a love-related incident turned him into a changedling against his will. He always plots how to turn back into a pre-reformed state or how to dethrone Thorax and Pharynx. His horsebugfriend is [Stainless Key](/tags/oc-colon-stainless+key). He hangs out a lot with [Dopple](/tags/oc-colon-dopple) but not exactly because he wants to. Dopple considers Berzie a friend but Berzie considers him mostly a nuisance.
