Once he was old enough, Talu joined the Desert Rangers in the hopes of making the wastes a safer place. As time when on he became disillusioned with his faction, especially after the Rangers were taken under the command of the New Canterlot Republic. After leaving the Desert Rangers Talu found himself taking jobs as a skilled mercenary. With a good grasp on the wastes, Talu gave up most of his naive ideals about making the world a better place through his actions and instead focuses on protecting the things or ponies he cares about. >>2583250s
